Spain like the North of England, parts of Scotland and Wales has its deserted cottages, hamlets and old towns which were once bustling places find themselves in an economic, social or political situation that is in a severe down turn. On one days drive through a deserted village near Santa Cruz I began a sequence of drawings on the notion of pueblo which I abandoned.
