This hill is like an Orians belt to me its one of three northern stars Penyghent,  Ingleborough and Whernside. I always look for this fell, Penyghent whe'oer I wander anywhere in the north west especially in Pendles district. . Penyghent Like its near neighbour Ingleborough is a great mountain like hump of a  hill that straddles Littondale and Ribblesdale and as such is a part of Britons hard Pennine spine. Its captured  many a heart in its vastness and has been the topic of many a fable.
